Meetings are every Tuesday (except Bank Holidays and the Tuesday between Christmas and New Year) from 1930 to approx 2200 at London Road Railway Station, Shaftesbury Place (off Ditchling Rise) in Brighton, East Sussex, UK. The clubrooms are in what was originally the Ladies waiting room. Click here for a map of the area. The minimum age for membership is 18 due to current legislation and the fact that our clubrooms are situated in a working station.

As well as building and operating our layouts, we run other events such as film and slide shows, quiz nights, an annual competition for members' models and an exhibition in November each year.

London Road station is the first stop out of Brighton on the line to Lewes. Services are operated by the  Southern Railway and run at least every 20 minutes throughout the day, Reduced services evenings and Sundays.

Closest bus stops to the station are on the 5, 5A and 5B route in Beaconsfield Villas / Preston Road or the 26 route in Ditchling Road.
Services are operated by Brighton & Hove Bus company. Both stops are just a few minutes away from the station which is signposted.

London Rd station has had a  major refurbishment. Work started July 2004 and is now finished. We moved back into our clubrooms on the 21st of December 2004 and they have been transformed. Work includes new window and door frames, re-plastering, painting, new lowered ceilings, carpets, lighting, electrical work and a new toilet and kitchen.
