Brighton Model Railway Club

COMPETITION

Page last modified 31 May 2007.

Every year we hold a competition for members' models.

There are in fact two trophies, the John Drowley Cup ( named in memory of a late club member ) which is awarded for the best rolling stock model, and the London Road Cup awarded for the best non-rolling stock model.

The 2007 competition was to have been on Tuesday 17th April, however despite the largest number of entries for many years......the Judge was unable to attend, the competition was rescheduled to the 15th of May.

I have however posted photos of all the entries and what a selection......LNER, LBSCR, LSWR, GWR, DRGW, BR.......

And the winners were.............

Alan seen on the left with the John Drowley Cup for his model of a GWR Weed killing train( bottom row RH picture) and Pete won the London Rd cup with his model of a signalbox (third row).
